(a) Candidate's age limit as on 01-04-2024 should be as described in column 3 of the notification. However, the maximum age limit is 32 years for sons and daughters of brave freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and physically challenged. Affidavit is not admissible for proof of age.

(b) Age limit of departmental candidates is relaxable up to 40 years for the post of Semi-Currency cum Computer Operator. It should be noted that departmental candidates are the employees appointed or engaged under the Bangladesh Secretariat (non-cadre gazetted officers and non-gazetted employees) recruitment rules.

Candidates working in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations must apply with permission from appropriate authority. Employed candidates should tick (√) in the box of Departmental Candidate while filling the application form subject to fulfilling all the conditions. This condition does not apply to others. However, all the serving candidates are required to submit the original copy of no objection clearance issued by the appointing authority at the time of oral examination.

The existing rules and regulations of the government in the matter of recruitment and any subsequent amendments in the relevant rules will be followed. The authority reserves the right to reduce/increase the number of posts mentioned in the notification and cancel the notification.

No TA/DA will be provided for participation in written and oral examination.

In order to fill the vacant posts of Serial Nos. 1 and 4 of the table described in this recruitment circular, 'Bangladesh Secretariat (Extra Cadre Gazetted Officers and Non-Gazetted Employees) Recruitment Rules, 2014' (Revised 2020), Computer Personnel Recruitment Rules of Government Institutions to fill the vacant posts of Serial No. 2, 2019' and to fill up the vacant posts of Serial No. 3, Accounts Cell Staff Recruitment Rules, 2018 of Ministries and Departments will be followed. 08. (a) Candidates for the post of Numerical and Computer Operator and Office Assistant will have to participate in the written test in Bengali, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
